Inteplast was developed with a strong corporate commitment to preserving the
environment. Our products—from plastic bags to stretch films and PVC
sheets—are designed to remain strong at low gauges, minimizing raw materials
used and eliminating waste in the production process. We make all of our products from
polypropylene, polyethylene, or polyvinyl chloride, which are chemically
stable, non-leaching materials that will not affect groundwater sources
or create air pollution.
Recycling is an integral part of our environmental focus.
All of our AmTopp, Integrated Bagging Systems and World-Pak plants
have reclaim lines to reprocess internally generated scrap.
This internally recycled material is then integrated into the manufacturing process.
Integrated Bagging Systems division is EPR accredited, which means that our
company has received the industry Seal of Approval for maintaining environmentally
sensitive production facilities in resin pallet control, water based ink,
scrap control, and our recycling program and recycled material use.
