Q.: What is InteFoam?
A.: InteFoam is an expanded PVC foam board with a matte finish.
   
Q.: What are InteFoam main features?
A.: Hard surface. Superior ink and paint adhesion. Light weight. Thermoforming capabilities. Impervious to moisture. Fire retardancy.
   
Q.: In what sizes does InteFoam come?
A.: InteFoam comes in sheet 4’x8’ but custom lengths are available upon request.
   
Q.: Is InteFoam available in sheets 40” and 60” wide?
A.: Yes, subject to a minimum quantity requirement.
   
Q.: In what thickness is InteFoam available?
A.: 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12.7mm, 16mm, 19mm, 25mm.
   
Q.: Is InteFoam available in colors?
A.: Yes, 11 different colors are available in 3mm and 6mm. Custom colors and /or thickness are available on request, subject to minimum quantity requirements.
   
Q.: What makes InteFoam colors such a good buy?
A.: Superior fade resistance. Do your own comparison test with other brands.
   
Q.: In what applications is InteFoam currently being used?
A.: Substrate for signs and laminates. Window and POP display fabrication. Exhibit manufacture. Arts and crafts.
   
Q.: What types of pains or inks work best with InteFoam?
A.: Polyurethane or solvent-based paints or inks. For outdoor use, to minimize heat build-up and possible deflection, pastel colors are recommended, rather than darker colors. Painting the entire surface with dark colors is not advised and recommended.
   
Q.: Can InteFoam be easily glued?
A.: Yes. Epoxy or PVC glues work best.
   
Q.: Is InteFoam fire rated?
A.: Yes, it conforms to UL94 V0, UL94 5V, and UL48.
   
Q.: How do extreme temperatures affect InteFoam?
A.: As with any thermoplastic, InteFoam will become harder or softer with swings in temperature and direct exposure to sunlight. This may cause some deflection. Please follow the Usage and Fabrication Guidelines. Available at your distributor, for proper installation and painting procedures.
   
Q.: Is InteFoam environmentally safe?
A.: Yes. It contains no lead or heavy metals and is recyclable.
