LIVINGSTON, NJ – February 10, 2026 – STA, LLC, in Rogersville, TN, has been acquired by Inteplast Group and is now STA Coated Technologies. The company has joined Inteplast’s BOPP Films business unit within the AmTopp Division to expand its capabilities into custom coatings. BOPP Films’ other four locations are in Gray Court, SC; Lolita, TX; Morristown, TN; and Lanoraie, QC, Canada.
STA, with its staff of 40, produces a portfolio of high quality and high-performance adhesive tapes and is an industry leader in the application of sustainable aqueous adhesives, and primer coatings.
STA’s COO Will Smith remains with STA Coated Technologies as part of its leadership team and will work with Homer Hsieh, president of AmTopp, and Paul Marquard, vice president and general manager of BOPP Films to ensure a smooth transition for employees and customers.
Hsieh said the expansion of BOPP Films through STA will optimize the unit’s dynamic portfolio.
