Lolita, TX – February 12, 2026 – Inteplast Group, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, held a banquet dinner for 10 of its manufacturing professionals who were designated as All-Stars. The January event, held at the Jackson County Services Building in Edna, was attended by 165 guests, including 10 Inteplast Group All-Stars and their family members, along with colleagues, and other company officials.
The All-Stars recognition program is in its ninth year, and awards Inteplast Group employees who excel in teamwork and leadership. All-Stars must have at least five years of tenure and are nominated by their immediate supervisor. Throughout the company’s locations worldwide, there are 53 All-Stars this year.
Alisha Koehl, senior regional human resources manager at Inteplast’s Lolita site, said that All-Stars set a standard by which professionals from all industries can be inspired.
“At Inteplast, celebrating our All-Stars is about more than recognition – it’s about honoring our team members’ exceptional hard work, dedication, and commitment to our company values. Their contributions set the standard for excellence and inspire all of us to continue building a stronger Inteplast Group together. By shining a light on these achievements, we reinforce a culture where people feel valued, inspired to grow, and proud of the impact they make every day,” said Koehl.
The occasion, which began with a happy hour followed by dinner, culminated in the presentation of awards for the 10 guests of honor. Managers of the All-Stars presented crystal plaques, and company officials read letters of commendation on behalf of Inteplast Group President Dr. John Young and division leaders. The main course and desserts were catered by Ventura’s and Belle Vie Patisserie, both in Victoria; and Sweet Tooth Fairy, located in Edna, reflecting a continued commitment to supporting local businesses and community partners. (or something to this effect)
Karen Karl, an All-Star and quality control supervisor at BOPP Films, an Inteplast division, was one of the honorees at the banquet. Karl has been with BOPP Films for 32 years.
“Being an All-Star means doing my best every day. It’s about being dependable, having a positive attitude, and always being willing to help when someone else needs it. It’s about treating the people I work with like a team, not just coworkers. I’m thankful to work with people who support one another, communicate, and work together to make even the toughest days successful,” said Karl.
Inteplast Group has honored 490 All-Stars since the program launched in 2013. The company anticipates crossing a 500-awardee threshold when its 2026 nominees are finalized later this year.
